President Weah Consoles Kuwait

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – President. George Manneh Weah has sent a condolence message to His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, King of Kuwait State, following the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait. He died on December 16, 2023, at the age of eighty-six (86).

In a statement from the Foreign Ministry, President George Manneh Weah expressed his sincere condolences to His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, King of Kuwait, and specifically to the bereaved family for the irreversible loss suffered on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, as well as in his own name.

According to President Weah, the late His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, will be remembered for his outstanding contributions to national unity, socioeconomic development, and the prosperity of the resilient people of the state of Kuwait, as well as to international peace, security, and diplomacy.

The Liberian Leader then prayed and hoped that the Almighty Allah will grant His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, King State of Kuwait, and the resilient people of Kuwait comfort and strength during this difficult period of national mourning.
