President Weah encourage citizens to redouble their efforts in the fight against Covid-19 as US (CDC) rank Liberia level one.

President George Weah has express delight minutes after the US Center for Diseases Control (CDC) rank Liberia level one for the country significant efforts made in the fight against Convid-19.

Liberia in June and July of this year was place at level four in the ongoing fight against the deadly corona virus pandemic following increasing wave of cases reported so far.

Addressing scores of Journalists on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, upon his return in the Country, president Weah said, he welcome the latest CDC report adding despite the latest report citizens across the country must redouble their efforts in the fight against Covid-19 by observing the health protocols.

According to the Liberian leader, wearing of masks, hand washing, social distancing should be observed by all citizens if Liberia must defeat the global pandemic, at the same time encouraging citizens to get vaccinated so as to prevent them from covid.

President Weah noted that, with the significant efforts Liberia is making in combating covid-19 the country’s remain hopeful to defeat the deadly corona virus which has taken thousands of lives.
