Dr. Urey-Yarkpawolo Representative Bid Receives Huge Endorsement

Bong County District# 4 Representative aspirant, Dr. Emmanuel Urey-Yarkpawolo’s representative bid has received a huge boost at the convergence of several stakeholders within the kpaquellie clan, Zota district involving the elders and opinion leaders who sought to give him the moral imprimatur to run for the district highest seat.

The massage which was delivered through the different groups was no different. Dr. Urey-Yarkpawolo received a rousing welcome at every step along the way from the multitude of citizens for his continued support of their children’s education and the introduction of modern agriculture in the area.

Stakeholders who spoke with Reports231 disclosed that the exemplary leadership qualities displayed by their son had lent momentum to the growing support from the people of the kpaquellie clan for his representative bid.

 “The construction and completion of the Yarkpawolo Public School and the ongoing Oil palm processing marching factory construction in Garmue Town his support to our children’s education as well to road constructions across our community are some of our son’s tangible. We are also aware that he is one of the brains behind the much talk about “Land Rights Acts” that now give us traditional people rights to our lands and as well give our mothers and sisters the rights to owning land”.

 According to them, these are tangible that has necessitated the support for Dr. Urey-Yarkpawolo’s representative bid.

In response, Dr. Urey-Yarkpawolo thanked Kpaquellie clan citizens for the support of his representative process adding that he will not let them down. He described how difficult it is to tell people about contesting these days due to the many lies they have been told by former and current politicians.

He encouraged his people to remain strong as they have done by endorsing him. Dr. Emmanuel Urey-Yarkpawolo is noted for his involvement in the development of the 2018 Land Rights Acts, the building and turning over to the government of the Yarkpawolo Public School, and the construction of the biggest oil palm processing factory within the district.

 He, however, encouraged citizens to remain supportive as 2023 gets closer. He named the provision of quality education, women and youth empowerment, and modern agriculture among others as his major objectives if handed power.
