Mega Watch Parties, Expanded Access Set Stage For Historic Final

Monrovia, Liberia – As the FIFA World Cup reaches its dramatic climax, DStv Liberia is turning Monrovia into a football festival, bringing thousands of fans together through mega public watch parties while expanding access to its services to ensure no subscriber misses the crowning of the new world champions.
From securing the rights to broadcast all 104 matches of the expanded FIFA World Cup to hosting high-energy viewing events across the capital, DStv says it has remained committed to delivering what it describes as the most accessible World Cup experience ever for Liberian football lovers.
According to a release, with the semi-finals and final drawing global attention, football fans are gathering at popular entertainment venues including Grill Republic, Passion, Cigar Hub and Sinkor Lounge, where giant screens and live SuperSport coverage are creating a stadium-like atmosphere in the heart of Monrovia.
“Our goal from day one was to make this historic World Cup the most accessible and engaging tournament ever for our Liberian subscribers, From our initial rights launch to these final, historic matches, we want every football fan in Monrovia to feel the energy, the unity and the magic of the game,” a DStv representative said.
Also, DStv earlier announced that all 104 matches of the expanded FIFA World Cup would be broadcast live in high definition across its subscriber packages, from Access to Premium, under its campaign slogan, “When the World Plays, Everything Can Wait.”
To complement the viewing experience, the company has also expanded its network of authorized dealers across Monrovia, allowing customers to purchase decoders, reconnect subscriptions and access DStv services more conveniently.
The new outlets include Nabieu Forex Bureau at Duport Road Junction, Divine Favor in Caldwell, Jaijas Enterprise in Barnesville Kebbeh, A B & Alvin Center in Mount Barclay and Kakata, Jeremiah Business Center in Mount Barclay, Family Efforts Business Center in Soul Clinic, Multi Purpose Business Center and BFT Business Center in Pipeline, and Rapid Tech Solutions in Boys Town.
The expanded retail network is intended to help subscribers stay connected throughout the closing stages of the tournament and ensure they do not miss the final whistle as football’s newest world champions are crowned.
As the tournament concludes, DStv is also encouraging subscribers to activate their accounts and use the DStv Stream app to follow the remaining matches from anywhere, reinforcing its campaign to bring the world’s biggest football spectacle closer to Liberian fans.
