FC Fassell President Cassell Kuoh Expelled fro Football Activities

Monrovia, Liberia – Cassell Anthony Kuoh, president and CEO of FC Fassell, has been expelled from the Liberia Football Association (LFA) and all football-related activities by the Grievance and Disciplinary Committee. Kuoh was found guilty of violating FIFA and LFA regulations. Melton Yoko, president of Small Town Football Academy, filed an official complaint stating that Kuoh had broken football rules by bringing an internal football disagreement before a regular court. This complaint led to the committee’s judgement.

After reviewing the matter, the committee determined that Kuoh’s choice to use the civil court system to seek an injunction against the Liberia Football Association was a grave breach of the association’s rules. The LFA Statutes’ Articles 18 and 19 mandate that all football-related disputes be settled solely by the Association’s approved arbitration procedures, not by regular courts, according to the verdict.

The committee additionally determined that the court action violated FIFA and LFA norms by amounting to third-party meddling in the association’s elections and governance. Jenkins Pelenah, the acting chairman of the Grievance and Disciplinary Committee, stated that the investigation revealed that Kuoh had broken both Article 51 of the FIFA Statutes and other LFA Statutes, including Articles 2, 18.3, and 19.

The committee determined that Kuoh had committed a major violation that called for the revocation of his membership, citing Chapter 15, Article 27 of the LFA 2018 Approved Statutes, as modified. Consequently, the Committee banned Cassell Anthony Kuoh from all football-related activities within the jurisdiction of the LFA, FIFA, CAF, and WAFU and ordered his immediate removal from the Liberia Football Association.

The decision highlights the Liberia Football Association’s stance that football issues must stay inside the sport’s established judicial and arbitration processes and represents one of the strongest disciplinary actions the organization has taken in recent years. As stakeholders await any additional response or appeal that may be taken through the proper football judicial systems, the verdict is anticipated to have substantial repercussions for FC Fassell and Liberia’s football administration.
