Monrovia, Liberia – A high-level Strategic Policy Dialogue between the UN and the Government of Liberia (GoL) is scheduled for December 6, 2024, at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.

Critical decision-makers from the UN system and the Liberian government will be brought together for the dialogue in order to guarantee that the AAID is effectively discussed and to develop how the UNSDCF 2026–2030 Strategic Development Cooperation Framework will be in line with the AAID.

This historic occasion will fortify the strategic partnership between the UN and the Liberian government, promoting quantifiable advancements on the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development in line with SDG objectives.

Using lessons learned from existing programs and national priorities, identify areas of action for the UNSDCF 2026–2030. Create a thorough monitoring and coordination system to guarantee that priorities are implemented cooperatively and effectively.

It is anticipated that the discussion will result in a more robust strategic vision for the partnership, which will encompass: Shared knowledge of AAID-aligned Liberia’s development goals in relation to regional and international obligations
