The  Monrovia Consolidated School System with funding from the Ministry of Finance has announced free tuition for all MCSS-run institutions in Monrovia and its environment.

The decision is part of the institution’s commitment to helping parents of school-going children at all MCSS schools who sent their kids to acquire affordable and sustainable education at a lower cost.

Addressing a News conference in Monrovia, MCSS Superintendent, Hon. Isaac Zawolo said the move is in line with his pledge made when he was inducted as head of the Monrovia Consolidated School System.

According to Hon. Zawolo the introduction of the tuition-free policy for all MCSS-run institutions is also part of president George Weah’s commitment to the educational sector of Liberia.

The MCSS boss further that, the institution has opened an unnamed High School on Bushrod Island to ease the overcrowding of students at the D-Tweh Memorial High School.
