Gompa City, Nimba County- President George Manneh has begun his tour in Nimba County where he received overwhelming welcome from supporters including First Time voters, Chief, Elders, Men and Women in Nimba county.
At the welcoming ceremony in Gompa city Nimba, the City Mayor of Gompa City Amos Swah welcomed president Weah and requested for fire truck, waste bin and the completion of the newly constructed city hall in Gompa city.
Speaking at the ceremony, the CDC senatorial candidate Roland Duo said the Godfather has disappointed the people of nimba as such he is the godson of Nimba.
He pleaded with the president to build more roads for the people of Nimba county when he’s elected for the second term.
In response to the people of Nimba county President George Weah praised them for voting him in 2017 noting that he is confident that the people of nimba will re-elect him comes October 10.
He said when nimba elect team Weah, they are electing the right change for Liberia and Nimba county will never be the same in the second term by one man leading.
“Those who are using my kind gesture will no more be tolerated. Build my school I will join you, build my church I will join you, no more this will happen,“ he added
