SAYS TWEH IS A FREE MAN
Monrovia, Liberia – In support of its founding member, Samuel Tweah, the opposition Congress for Democratic Change has threatened to take unspecified political action, characterizing the recent legal efforts against him as politically motivated.
Senior CDC official Lenn Eugene Nagbe, who served as chief of staff in the office of former President George Weah, argued that a jury had found Tweah not guilty and alleged that the government was trying to utilize “extrajudicial” methods to reverse that decision.

Nagbe emphasized that the party has lost faith in the fairness of the legal system’s handling of the case and threatened to use every legal political instrument at its disposal to fight the system.
Nagbe criticized the bail terms and imprisonment of former Executive Mansion Chief of Protocol Nora Finda Bondoo, claiming that the courts are not upholding justice but rather being used to promote political goals.
The remarks were made during his appearance on a Monrovia local radio station in Monrovia. Oppositions have criticized the UP administration of intimidation and political harassment ahead of 2029 elections.
