Liberty Party Chairman Musa Bility called on Liberians who will be voting in the pending Nov 16 by-elections to reject all CDC candidates at the electoral polls. Chairman Bility said Liberians residing within the four districts where the by-elections are scheduled to be conducted, do not need to vote CDC candidates. According to him, if they vote the CDC candidates it will worsen the already harsh economic situation in the country.
The Liberty Party Chairman was speaking in Bong County on Thursday, November 4, 2021, when he accompanied the ANC Political Leader Alexander Cummings to rally support for the CPP candidate participating in the Bong county District #2 by election. Meanwhile, ANC Political Leader Alexander Cummings also called on the county District #2 residents to ensure the election of the CPP candidate in the district.
Opposition has accused the ruling establishment of doing nothing to improve the lives of Liberians. They noted that bad governance, corruption, unemployment among others is the cause of no improvement for investors to come into the country.
The upcoming Representative by-elections are expected to take place in four of Liberia’s 15 counties; including Bong, Bomi Nimba and Grand Gedeh Counties.
