Monrovia, Liberia – Madam Marline Cooper Kollie, the CEO of Prime Excellence Daycare School and a well-known educator in Liberia, has urged the Ministry of Education of the Government of Liberia to prioritize and boost funding for early childhood education, citing it as the cornerstone of both national development and children’s future success.
Speaking on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the school’s first graduation ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year, Madam Kollie emphasized the importance of high-quality early childhood education in creating an informed, responsible, and productive society.
She emphasized that early education is crucial in forming children’s critical thinking abilities, character, and general development and cautioned that sustainable national growth cannot be accomplished without a solid educational foundation. According to her, early childhood education is one of the most crucial phases of a child’s educational journey and is the foundation for every child’s future success.
“I urge the Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Education, to prioritize and strengthen investment in early childhood education because it is a tool for national stability and the development of critical thinking. There can be no sustainable development without a solid educational foundation.”
Additionally, Madam Kollie focused on the school’s dedication to offering a secure, supportive, and engaging environment where kids can develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and morally. “Our mission is to ensure that every child entrusted to our care receives the best possible start in life through quality education, discipline, and strong moral values,” she said.
With the help of certified educators, child-centred learning strategies, and a curriculum that prepares students for future academic success, we are still dedicated to upholding high educational standards, she said. Noting that successful learning starts both at home and in the school, Madam Kollie urged parents to continue being actively involved in their kids’ education.
She believes that producing responsible, self-assured, and productive citizens requires the collaborative efforts of educators, parents, and school administrators. As Prime Excellence Nursery School grows its educational programs, she reassured stakeholders that it will keep making investments in safety, discipline, high-quality instruction, and a supportive learning environment.
The institution honoured its first graduating class since its founding, making the graduation ceremony a significant turning point. The vibrant celebration, which was held at the school’s Cow Farm Community campus in Brewerville City, brought together parents, guardians, teachers, invited visitors, and well-wishers to honour the students’ accomplishments.
The program included certificate presentations, academic performances by the graduating students, and cultural exhibits. The school’s commitment to quality and building a solid educational foundation for Liberia’s future generations was praised by parents and visitors. The graduation, according to school officials, marked the start of a new phase in their quest to offer high-quality early childhood education and make a significant contribution to the nation’s educational advancement.
