Senator Saah Joseph pledges to fully support Emmanuel Dahn Foundation’s nursing program

The District Seven Skill Training Center, run by the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation, has received a request from the Senior Senator of Montserrado County to add a nursing program to its curriculum. In order to show the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation how serious he is about his appeal, Senator Saah Joseph announced that later this month he will arrive with a container packed with supplies for nursing school.

The revelation was made by Senator Joseph during his keynote address at the District Seven Skills Training Center’s third graduation exercise on Sunday in Monrovia. The Montserrado County representative has committed to paying the instructors’ wages for at least a year. He claims that the college has to start offering nursing education since rural Liberia requires more medical professionals.

The senator for Montserrado County also promised to donate 100,000 Liberian dollars to each department at the school so that the graduating class might launch their own companies. Senator Joseph was recognized for the donations and pledges he made to help the students and the school by the Chief Executive Officer of the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation.

Emmanuel Dahn stated that he would make an effort to train young Liberians so they would be employable. 585 students received certificates at the program’s conclusion in a variety of subjects, including journalism, pastry, and home economy. Some of the student’s creations, including soap, hair, cake, and others, were displayed during the performance.
