The Supreme Court of Liberia Justice in Chambers Jamesetta Wolokolie has given the Liberty Party Musa Bility Faction a seventy-two hours ultimatum to revert to a Status quo ante.
Justice Wolokolie ordered that the 2021 LP constitution be withdrawn within seventy-two hours, noting that all altered provisions should be corrected and resubmitted In keeping with the Farmington MOU.
Speaking briefly after Justice Wolokolie ruling, Montserrado County senator Abraham Darius Dillon expressed joy in the High Court decision.
According to Senator Dillon, Musa Bility and his team were proceeding on the wrong path, stressing that it was about time that they are halted.
The Montserrado County popular Senator added that Bility altered the LP Constitution to confirm the power of the political leader to him.
He noted that the action of the LP embattled chairman (Bility) and his co-holt was criminal.
The Vice-Chair for Political Affairs of Liberty said the alleged alteration of the 2021 LP Constitution by Bility was breeding serious tensions within the party and giving the party a bad image outside.
