Monrovia, Liberia – Former Representative Acarous Moses Gray of Montserrado County electoral district #8 rated President Joseph Boakai’s 100-day deliverables as inadequate, with achievement attesting to just 0.003 percent.
Despite its goal to save the country, former Representative Gray insisted in an interview with Banna FM a local radio station in Monrovia over the weekend, former representative Gray stated that the UP-government has massively failed to the highest degree in its first 100 days in office.
The former lawmaker accused President Boakai and his Unity Party over their inability to deal with issues related to poverty, infrastructure development, and the absence of accountability and transparency in government.
He asserted that throughout its 100-day term, the government failed to adequately address the issues affecting the nation and fulfill its commitments to the Liberian people.
As for appointed government officials who have neglected to report their assets in accordance with the law, former Representative Gray urged the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission to look into the matter and take appropriate action.
He emphasized that the lack of accountability and transparency in the Unity Party government is demonstrated by the LACC’s recent declaration, which asserts that only 75 of the 500 selected government officials have disclosed their assets.
