IN BOAKAI’S FAVOR
Monrovia, Liberia – Political commentator Henry Costa publicly asks for forgiveness after acknowledging that he destroyed the four collaborating political parties in favor of Joe Boakai. Henry Costa acknowledged in the open that he played a role in the eventual dissolution of the four collaborating political parties by trying to undermine them.
In a live Facebook video, Costa revealed to the world that the ALP’s advice to UP Standard Bearer Joseph Boakai that Alexander Cummings of the ANC would use money to become the CPP Standard Bearer led to the creation of the plan to topple the CPP.
As per his statement, the All Liberian Party of Benoni Urey consented to quit the CPP, but Boakai, the CPP Chairman at the time, refused to end the cooperation.
Relating to the electoral process, he said, Liberians resolved to vote for the CDC and UP. The 2023 election results state that the two parties are most important in Liberia, citing the characters leading the two political parties. According to him, it is important that the opposition Unity Party call on all opposing political parties in order to vote the CDC out of power.
