The Sports Writers Association Of Liberia has termed as laudable the recent HONOR received by one of its members Sylvester Tamba.
Journalist Tamba, a Full member of SWAL is the Sports Director of Reports231 an OK FM whose outstanding and professional work over the period has attracted the Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF)
Over the weekend, Reporter Tamba was recognized and awarded a certificate of honor as the Best LKF reporter for the period under review.
According to the President of SWAL, Kolubah Zayzay, the honor of one of its members is welcoming and will serve as a motivator for the honoree to do more in his journalistic work.
President Zayzay at the same time used the occasion to encourage other members of SWAL to do more in reporting on other sporting disciplines in order to help promote sports across the Country.
“Let’s follow the good example of our colleague- Tamba to report not only on the traditional sports but to also flag issues of other sporting disciplines across the country”, he emphasized.
