First Lady Kartumu Boakai signed the book of condolence for the late Honorable Sylvester Grigsby with President Joseph N. Boakai, Sr. and other high-ranking government officials. Mrs. Boakai reflected on Grigsby’s legacy of service to the nation during a somber ceremony Thursday at the Executive Mansion.

“Humility, and dedication to Liberia, his family, and humanity, she praised the late Minister of State for Presidential Affairs for his profound societal impact, describing his passing as a “great loss to the nation.”

In her capacity as the nation’s mother, the first lady offered the grieving family her sympathies and prayed for heavenly solace.
