GoL promises to assign four-armed security officers to presidential candidates ahead of October 2023 elections

Monrovia, Liberia – Prior to the elections in October 2023, the Liberian government has committed to providing four-armed security personnel to each presidential candidate.

Frank Musa Dean, the justice minister, stressed that the administration would ensure free and fair elections.

Each presidential candidate running in the October 10, 2023, elections will receive four armed personnel, according to the Joint Security of Liberia officials.

According to Minister Dean, the initiative is designed to make sure that all presidential candidates and their vice presidential candidates are protected during these electoral processes.
