Mensah Reiterates “No Regret” Singing Kolubah’s Explosion

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – Representative Moima Briggs Mensah of Bong County District #6 has openly defended her decision to back Yekeh Kolubah’s expulsion, arguing that it was essential to re-establish order and integrity in the House of Representatives.

Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, Representative Briggs-Mensah revealed that she first opposed attempts to remove Kolubah during the 54th Legislature, citing worries about political meddling at the time.

She did, however, claim that her stance later shifted as a result of what she called persistent wrongdoing and escalating tensions within the Legislature.

Concerns over internal inconsistencies were also voiced by Rep. Briggs-Mensah, who claimed that whilst some politicians actively serve their constituents, others prioritize their own interests.
