Determine Girls are also on the verge of retaining the Women’s Upper-Division Championship, which would give them a double based on the Petro Trade Cup grand final result.
In the other semi-final match of the competition, Ambassadors FC got a narrowed 2-1 win over Soccer Ambassadors at the TUSA field in Garnerville.
In the male category of the competition, LISCR FC defeated Nimba FC 3-0 at the Tusa field to stand a chance of qualifying for the grand final.
Joseph Melton Quiah, Sam Jackson, and Christopher Jackson all appeared on the scored sheet for LISCR FC.
Tony FC and Muscat FC settled to a 1-1 draw in the other semi-final at the SKD practice pitch in Paynesville City.
Meanwhile, the return fixture in both male and female categories will be played on 23 March at the Nancy Doe Stadium in Kakata City Margibi County and TUSA field in Garnerville, Montserrado County.
