Two Liberian Referees Earn Certification at International Handball Training in Lomé

Lome, Togo – Two Liberian handball referees has been certified at the International Handball Trophy Qualifiers in Lomé, Togo. The two were certificated for their outstanding performance and completing a five-day international handball training program in addition to the competition.

Several officials from Zone 3 handball member nations, Santos N. Tarpeh and Henry Fahnbulleh, are certified referees. Both officials can now offer handball training in any handball-playing country in Africa owing to this certification.

The U-18 and U-20 national teams competed in the International Handball Trophy Qualifiers in Lomé, Togo, but missed to represent zone 3. The 36-person delegation from the Liberia Handball Association return home Monday.
